Announcement of Winners of Awards under the Excellent Green Logistics Commendation Program
METI, Japan: The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), the Japan Institute of Logistics Systems, and the Japan Federation of Freight Industries will organize the 11th Green Logistics Partnership Conference on December 11, 2012, at METI. This is a conference established in April 2005 through cooperation among METI, MLIT and related industrial organizations in order to mitigate CO2 emissions from the logistics sector in Japan. The conference informs people about green logistics based on the partnership between consignors and logistics entrepreneurs, recognizes excellent projects, and promotes publicity (membership comprised 3,154 companies/organizations and 113 individuals as of November 12, 2012).
