90 million USD to support the climate change and green growth program for the first time

The prime Minister has recently approved the list of the project “supporting climate change and green growth program for the first time” funded by the World Bank. The project will be implemented in 5 years (2016-2020) with the World Bank’s ODA fund for the first time of 90 million USD.

WB support integrated climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods

The prime Minister has approved a project named “integrated climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods in the Mekong River Delta” financed by World Bank with a total capital of 384.979 million dollars.
This project aims to enhance the adaptive capacity to climate change by improving planning, promoting resilient rural livelihoods, and constructing climate change smart infrastructure in Mekong Delta provinces.

ADB aids to develop sustainable and adaptive urban

The Prime Minister has approved a list of technical support project named “Adaptive and sustainable urban development” sponsored by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) through non-refundable aid. The project will be implemented within four years with a total budget of $ 2.755 million.
The overall objective of the project aims to support the Ministry of Construction to complete National Urban Development Strategy national urban development (NUDS).

22 billion to build climate change resilient housing in Da Nang

Da Nang People’s Committee has just launched the incentive mechanism to build climate change resilienthousing to for the poor in urban areas.
The project with a total fund of 898,028 Euros is sponsored by the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) with a specific objective: increasing the number of storm and flood resilient housing.
