Increase rate of 2013 greenhouse gas emissions to be controlled lower than GDP growth rate
MOE, Korea: The Ministry of Environment, the organization responsible in general for target management system for greenhouse gases and energy, confirmed and announced permissible amount of greenhouse gases for 2013. The number was agreed after several discussions with relevant organizations and industry. A joint working group comprised of related government organizations and experts have been run at Greenhouse Gas Inventory & Research Center (GIR) and have pre-set the total permissible amount per industry and set up the amount after the discussion with the industry.
